Description

Chromium oxide green (\(Cr_{2}O_{3}\)) is an extremely stable, opaque, and durable inorganic pigment, often called Pigment Green 17. Known for its dull, mossy-green hue, it is heavily used in paints, ceramics, and construction materials. It is also famously used in camouflage for its infrared-reflective properties and was historically used to print U.S. “greenback” currency.
